Description
A delicate and complex Margaux red wine
The estate
With its elegant neoclassical style, Château Labégorce is an estate in the Margaux appellation that has been renowned for the quality of its wines for several centuries. In 1989, the Perrodo family acquired the estate and gave it a new lease of life, making this great terroir on Bordeaux's Left Bank shine.
The vineyard
Château Labégorce 2022 is a Margaux wine made from a vineyard of 62.5 hectares in AOC Margaux and 4.5 hectares in the Haut-Médoc appellation. The vines are on average 30 years old and are planted on sandy-gravelly, sandy-silty and clay-limestone soils typical of the Margaux appellation.
Winemaking and ageing
Harvested by hand. Vinification in temperature-controlled concrete vats. Aged in barrels (40% new).
Blend
Château Labégorce 2022 is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc.
