Description
The elegant freshness and tension of a red wine from Pomerol
Great wine of the property, Chateau Nénin is one of the most prestigious wines of Pomerol, a symbolic name for the right bank of Bordeaux.
After a beginning of the vegetative cycle marked by cool and humid temperatures, the 2012 vintage will have been marked by exceptional sunny weather conditions from mid-July to the end of September. At Château Nénin, the harvest took place from the 21 of September to the 10 of October.
Château Nénin 2012 is made from a blend of merlot (70%) and cabernet franc (30%). This great Pomerol subtly combines the characteristics of each grape variety: the power and roundness of the Merlot blend with the finesse and complexity of the Cabernet Franc.
On tasting, Château Nénin 2012 seduces the palate with its unctuous and tasty texture. The cru retains a very nice balance thanks to a sustained tension and great elegance. An elegant and complex wine that will delight lovers of great Pomerol.
