Clos Solène : Harmonie 2015

A well-balanced and rich Paso Robles wine

The estate

Guillaume Fabre, the son of a winegrower, worked with his father on the family vineyard in the Languedoc-Roussillon region of France from an early age. Wishing to create his own range and after studying oenology and viticulture in Carcassonne, Guillaume Fabre settled with his wife in Paso Robles, an emblematic wine-growing area in California, and they both founded Clos Solène in 2007.

The vineyard

A tribute to Guillaume Fabre's French roots, Clos Solène's Harmonie is a Paso Robles wine made from vineyards located west of Paso Robles, within the Willow Creek district.

The blend

Clos Solène's Harmonie 2015 is a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre.

Wine Spectator
Wine Advocate-Parker :
A blend of 60% Grenache, 26% Mourvèdre and 14% Syrah, the 2015 Harmonie is already quite outgoing, wafting from the glass with sweet aromas of ripe cherries, crushed currants, flowers and incipient savory bass notes. On the palate, it's full-bodied, supple and velvety but underpinned by a chalky chassis of tannin that's largely concealed by its generous core of succulent fruit. The finish is long and lingering.
