Château de Meursault produced an unctuous and generous Meursault Village du Château. This cuvee is a blend of different Meursault climates composed of Chardonnay vines. Among those wonderful climats (lands with unique combination of weather conditions and soil composition), one can find the generosity of Dresolles, the mineral character of Grands Charrons, the finesse of Limozins, as well as the Sous la Velle and Meix Chavaux terroirs. This 2006 Meursault Village du Chateau reveals a bright yellow colour with orangey highlights. The nose gives off white flower fragrances that evolve into more ripened, candied orange notes. The palate offers unctuous almond aromas and a good freshness brought by the mineral aspect of the different climats. The Château de Meursault produces a white wine with an elegant, balanced and very complex structure.
