Description
The refinement and freshness of a Chablis Grand Cru
The estate
Domaine Laroche is one of the most famous vineyards in Chablis, Burgundy, and boasts an extraordinary historical heritage. The buildings of Domaine Laroche are located in the heart of old Chablis. As early as 867, the abbots of Saint-Martin de Tours settled in Chablis and marked the beginning of the vineyard's development. The relics of Saint-Martin are preserved in the Domaine Laroche's Obédiencerie, where the estate's cellars are located today. In the 15th and 17th centuries, the Obédiencerie de Chablis became a major player in the wine industry thanks to the construction of a renowned vineyard. The reputation of the monks of the Obédiencerie will establish the fame of Chablis wines.
