Description
The estate
An essential reference point for the great wines of Italy, Frescobaldi embodies the excellence of winegrowing in Tuscany. With seven different estates located in benchmark growing areas, Frescobaldi stands out for its ability to illustrate the full diversity of expression of the greatest Tuscan terroirs. Each of the estates has its own history, its own terroir, and passionate men and women who are driven by the desire to produce great wines. Frescobaldi - Tenuta di Nipozzano, 25 kilometres north of Florence, flourishes from its great exposure and natural protection against the vagaries of the climate thanks to its location in the Arno river valley. The estate's wines, symbolic of the Florentine wine tradition, are distinguished by their exceptional aromatic range, longevity on the palate and their great ageing potential.
