The property

Managed by the three Ravaille brothers, Jean-Marc, Pierre and Xavier, the Domaine Héritage du Pic Saint-Loup is an emblematic estate of Languedoc. The estate is located in a grandiose setting, bathed by the influence of the majestic Pic Saint-Loup and the Mediterranean, on the hills of Saint-Mathieu de Tréviers. Thanks to the work of the 3 brothers, the estate has distinguished itself by the style of its wines offering one of the most beautiful expressions of Languedoc. Attached to their vines, the Ravaille brothers cultivate the vineyard in biodynamics, without any use of pesticide and with soil plowing.

The vineyard

The vineyard is located on a very large terroir of the Languedoc with a real mosaic of terroirs. The vines are planted on hard limestone soils, soft limestones, conglomerates, dolomite, fluvial limestone scree and marls. The Pic Saint-Loup area is characterized by its sufficient level of winter precipitation, dry summers and significant thermal amplitudes between night and day allowing an ideal maturation cycle for the vine. The characteristics of this area make it referred to as "climatic singularity of Pic Saint-Loup that persists regardless of the vintage".

Vinification and aging

This sparkling wine has benefited from a 9-month aging.
