Tasting
Appearance
A deep purple with crimson highlights, the wine shows a dense and brilliant appearance.
Nose
Initially marked by a slight reduction with hints of tar and graphite, the nose opens up with aeration to reveal more indulgent notes of blackcurrant coulis, enhanced by spices, violet, and a subtle refreshing vegetal touch.
Palate
The attack is structured and precise, leading to a silky palate supported by vibrant tannins. Flavors of dark fruits and spices express themselves with intensity, followed by an elegant finish on wild berries, enriched with nuances of orange blossom and cedar.

Founded in 1808 in Tain-L’Hermitage, the Maison M. Chapoutier is now regarded as a benchmark among the great names of Rhône Valley wines.
Both winemaker and merchant, Michel Chapoutier has elevated this family estate to the highest level over the vintages. Chapoutier wines are acclaimed by enthusiasts around the world for their elegance and outstanding quality. An iconic figure in the wine world, Michel Chapoutier holds the world record for the highest number of perfect scores (100/100) awarded by critic Robert Parker. His daughter Mathilde has since taken over, continuing the legacy of this prestigious house and overseeing a vineyard of more than 350 hectares across the most renowned appellations of the Rhône Valley, both in the north and the south.
