Marsannay Wines

Marsannay Wines image

Considered the "Golden Gate of the Cote de Nuits", the appellation of Marsannay is littered with vineyards that date to the seventh century. The wines of Marsannay were on the table of Louis XIV and Louis XVI. The only Village appellation that can be expressed in three colours, it is typical of the Cotes de Nuits and a style close to that of its neighbouring appellation, Gevrey-Chambertin. Marsannay reds are powerful and its whites fully express the range of citrus and white flower aromas. Marsannay rosés expresses peach and gooseberry with a characteristic full mouth, fresh and gourmand.
