Description
The richness and power of a great vintage champagne
The estate
An essential reference, the Charles Heidsieck Champagne House safeguards a prestigious heritage with chalk cellars dating back two millennia. A pioneer, Charles Heidsieck set itself apart as early as the late 1980s by highlighting the exceptional aromatic evolution of its multi-vintage Brut champagne. In 1987, Charles Heidsieck became the first Champagne house to indicate the "cellaring year" so the wine’s evolution could be tracked over time.
The vineyard
Blanc des Millénaires comes from five outstanding crus of the Côte des Blancs, in Champagne: Avize, Cramant, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, and Vertus.
The champagne
Blanc des Millénaires embodies the union of great Chardonnays and meticulous craftsmanship. Through this edition of its “Collection Crayères,” Charles Heidsieck once again opens its Œnothèque and invites you on a journey through time to discover a legendary vintage.
