The harmony and richness of a Brut Rosé Champagne
The estate
Founded in 1858, the Champagne Pommery House owes its reputation to the boldness and vision of Madame Pommery, who took the helm of the company after her husband's death. Determined to create distinctive cuvées, she focused on the exceptional quality of the grapes and developed a remarkable vineyard in Champagne. Now owned by the Vranken-Pommery Monopole group, Pommery cuvées are distinguished by their elegance, liveliness, and a refined yet complex aromatic richness.
The vineyard
Cuvée Louise, the true flagship of the style and excellence of this House, expresses the identity of the terroirs of three Grands Crus of Champagne: Ay, Avize, and Cramant.
The cuvée
Created in 1979, Cuvée Louise embodies the essence of the style of this prestigious Champagne House. Produced only in great vintages, it is named after the founders’ daughter. Louise’s unexpected birth gave her parents new momentum to secure their family’s future. Thus, Mr. Pommery, leaving behind the declining wool business, turned to champagne in 1857. Sadly, he passed away a year after Louise’s birth, marking the beginning of the famous story of Veuve Pommery, one of the great female figures in the history of Champagne, alongside, notably, Veuve Clicquot.
This rosé champagne elegantly and indulgently expresses the aromatic signature of the great Champagne terroirs.
