Description
Clos Marie presents a lively and supple red wine from Languedoc
The property
Located in the Pic St Loup wine region, the Clos Marie estate was founded in 1995 by Françoise Julien and her winemaker husband Christophe Peyrus.
The name of the estate is a tribute to Françoise Julien's grandmother. Nicknamed Marie, she managed a few hectares of vineyards whose juices were destined for a cooperative. The couple took over the estate and carried out significant work with the ambition of producing wines that magnify the nuances and potential of these great Languedoc terroirs.
Clos Marie now oversees a vineyard of about 22 hectares.

Tasting
This red wine from Languedoc has a lively attack and then develops, with suppleness, the aromas of black fruits, tapenade and spices.
