The Essence of Priorat in a structured and fresh wine
A virtuoso sommelier who has become a talented winemaker, Franck Massard has adopted Priorat, a region located in Catalonia, as his own in order to achieve his dream and produce his own wines.
The Bellesa Perfecta 2014 was born from the desire of Franck Massard to produce a wine that would reflect the typical character of the exceptional terroir and the minerality so special to Priorat, in a style marked by freshness and liveliness.
Made from vineyards planted near the villages of Poboleda and El Molar, planted on steep terraces, the Perfecta Bellesa pays tribute to the typical grape varieties of the Priorat in a blend of Grenache and Carignan.
Created with great attention to detail and respect for traditions, the Perfecta Bellesa 2014 emphasises the technical nature of the extractions carried out in a gentle manner to preserve the brightness of the fruit. The maturation took place over a period of 12 months in French oak barrels of 500 liters to bring roundness and complexity to the wine, with elegant tannins distinguished by their finesse.
