Wine Advocate-Parker : The Millésime 2006 William Deutz Brut (LA110D27915) spent 100 months on the lees in bottle before disgorgement (October 2015). The blend of 66% Pinot Noir, 29% Chardonnay and 5% Pinot Meunier displays ripe, concentrated, very aromatic fruit with citrus fruit zest flavors, candied lemons and aromatic herbs highlighted by pure mineral flavors. The palate is full-bodied, powerful and rich, with enormous tension and a touch of sweetness that makes the 2006 overly rich for my taste, at least at this stage. However, the wine has a firm structure and so much intensity, which is promising for excellent aging potential. Tasted June 2018.
