Description
A smooth Champagne wine
The producer
The history of the Taittinger Champagne House began in the early 20th century. Ran by Pierre-Emmanuel Taittinger and his two children, Clovis and Vitalie, the Taittinger House has managed to preserve its family spirit by producing champagnes that are resolutely Chardonnay in style. Since January 1st 2020, Vitalie Taittinger is the President of the Taittinger Champagne House.
The vineyard
The vineyards owned by the Taittinger Champagne House spread across 288 hectares of vines and include 37 different crus. This makes Taittinger the third largest vineyard in Champagne. The entire vineyard bears a High Environmental Value certificate.
The wine
The Nocturne City Lights is a limited cuvée of Taittinger. Its beautiful maturity, thanks to a long ageing in the cellar, makes this round and smooth champagne a pleasant evening pour.
The blend
The blend of this Champagne wine is 40% Chardonnay and 60% Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier.

The tasting
Colour
The colour is a beautiful pale yellow with shimmering reflections. The bubbles offer a beautiful finesse with its delicate foam.
Nose
The nose is subtle and delicate with fragrances of yellow peaches and dried apricots.
Palate
The palate is supple and smooth with a magnificent freshness. Flavours of sultanas and fruits in syrup are present. The finish is long and smooth. A smooth and unctuous wine, with a splendid maturity and a rich and round expression.
