Dom Pérignon : Rosé Vintage Limited Edition Jewel Box 2002

1 Bottle in presentation case (75 cl)

2002 Dom Pérignon Rosé is the result of an exceptional vintage. The year 2002 was characterised by an almost perfect blossoming, long sunny periods and an optimum ripeness of the grapes. 2002 Dom Pérignon Rosé seduces by its beautiful pink robe giving way to a bright bouquet. A nice aromatic complexity can be detected on the nose. This Champagne first releases fresh notes of citrus fruits to then gain depth with delicate hints of black cherry, enhanced by smoky fragrances. The taste is affirmed with a creamy structure. The wine is broad and one can sense a good persistence. This Champagne is vibrant and crystal clear.

Wine Advocate-Parker :
Unfortunately there is only one new release from Dom Perignon on the market, but what a wine it is! The 2002 Brut Rose explodes from the glass with endless layers of huge, voluptuous fruit, A big, full-bodied wine, the 2002 is probably the most overly vinous, intense Rose ever made by long-time Chef de Caves Richard Geoffroy. Layers of cool, insistent minerality balance the fruit beautifully on the crystalline, vivid finish. The 2002 will be nearly impossible to resist young, but take my word for it; the wine is extremely closed right now. Anticipated maturity: 2015-2032.
