Fragrances of sweet spices follow the delicious dried fruit and candied fruit aromas, while buttered brioche notes echo a perfect maturity of the grapes in a Champagne patiently aged on lees and achieving a mineral freshness. On the palate, the Cuvée Joséphine 2008 by Joseph Perrier shows perfect balance. The notes perceived on the nose display plenty of personality, coating the palate with fruity flavours and a superb texture. This wine is vinous and mineral in structure with an elegant air of freshness. A rare Champagne that is one of the greats.
