A fresh and indulgent rosé Champagne from the Côteaux du Sézannais
The estate
Founded in June 2019 by Édouard Roy, Jérôme Queige and Camille Jullien Gilardi, EPC Champagne has established itself as the first start-up in Champagne, based in Vindey in the Marne. Backed by prestigious investors such as Xavier Niel and Didier Deschamps, the House is revolutionising the sector through its collaborative model with seven winegrowing cooperatives. EPC stands out for its complete transparency, its traceable single-cru cuvées and the full involvement of its winegrowers.
The vineyard
Crafted in collaboration with a group of winegrowers in Bethon, in the Côteaux du Sézannais, this cuvée comes from vineyards in Champagne rooted in Upper Cretaceous soils of chalk, marl and clay, which lend the wine minerality and freshness.
The cuvée
With a dosage of 5 g/L, this rosé Champagne reveals a sensual, subtle and fruity profile, marked by freshness and a delicate touch of sweetness.
Winemaking and ageing
This EPC Rosé is vinified in stainless steel tanks, preserving the wine's aromatic purity and freshness. Malolactic fermentation was carried out, bringing roundness and suppleness to the whole.
Grape varieties
This Champagne is made from a blend of 55% Chardonnay and 45% Pinot Noir.
