The distinctive expression of a champagne with character from Telmont
The estate
Founded in 1912 by Henri Lhôpital, the House of Telmont is historically based in Damery, at the heart of the Champagne wine region. Today, this distinctive brand is majority-owned by the Rémy Cointreau group and led by Ludovic du Plessis. The estate stands out for its radical environmental commitment, aiming for a full conversion of its vineyard to organic and regenerative farming. Combining century-old heritage with absolute transparency, the estate crafts wines of great quality that express the full purity of their terroir.
The vineyard
The grapes for this cuvée come exclusively from the mother vine plot located in the village of Damery. This specific Champagne terroir gives rise to a cuvée characterised by its roundness, the purity of its fruit and its fresh notes of candied fruit.
Winemaking and ageing
The Blanc de Noirs 2013 is crafted through fermentation, ageing and maturation carried out entirely in oak foudres. To preserve the wine's full tension, malolactic fermentation is not carried out. Following bottling in 2014, the bottles are sealed with a cork stopper and rest in the cellar for 11 years, before being disgorged in 2025.
