In 2006, Armand de Brignac unveiled its first cuvée, Brut Gold, a unique and prestigious wine that boasts the excellence of Champagne.
The Armand de Brignac cuvées are produced from HVE 3 certified vineyards located in prestigious Champagne crus within the Montagne de Reims (Rilly-la-Montagne, Chigny-les-Roses, Ludes).
Armand de Brignac's Brut Green Edition is a cuvée commemorating the Masters Golf Tournament, also known as The Masters, one of the four main international professional golf tournaments. The green colour of the bottle refers to the colour of the jacket awarded each year to the champions of this iconic tournament since 1949.
This modern-day luxury champagne is presented in an opaque bottle covered with a layer of metal. Meticulously applied by hand, the bottle is adorned with a French pewter label, featuring the brand's iconic "Ace of Spades".
Vinification and ageing
Hand-picked. Only the cuvée is kept for the elaboration of this champagne in order to develop a soft texture and a balanced acidity. Upon disgorgement, the addition of a liqueur de tirage comprising the finest base wine of the harvest, aged for one year in French oak barrels, gives a delicious complexity with pastry, toasted and vanilla notes.
Pinot Noir (40%)
Pinot Meunier (20%)
The nose gives off aromas of apricots and peaches, enhanced by hints of citrus fruit, orange blossom and brioche.
Rich and creamy, the palate is seduced by this wine’s intense fruity expression (exotic fruits, cherry) completed by subtle aromas of lemon, vanilla and honey.
Food and wine pairing
With its creamy texture and exotic fruit aromas, this Brut Champagne will complement an array of dishes, such as pan-fried scallops, roast quail or freshwater fish.
Enjoy now, Brut Green Edition can be cellared until around 2025.
